Default Breed?

So I asked on this forumwhen he was a puppy.... now that he's a little over a year I thought I'd re-ask. I've been told he's a GSD/Boxer mix.
He is about a year and weighs in at about 105lbs last I checked.
VERY playful, protective, barks when the doorbells rings, someone new comes to the door.... tail wagging if he knows them, hair stands up if he doesnt.
He does have the ridgeback ridge that raises on his back when he is unsure/scared/nervous.... I don't know if all dogs have this or not?

Wow - isn't he handsome! To me, he looks like a dane. Does the hair stand up all the way down his back or just around his shoulders?

at 105 lbs he totally has something bigger in him. I'd say a dane cross too! He's gorgeous! Do you have a broadside shot so we can see his conformation better?

He looks like dane/english mastiff to me. Since he's only about a year, he still has some growing to do.

His hair stands up all the way down his back, from his neck to his tail. It's noticeably longer, hence why everyone always asks me "is that a ridgeback"?
I saw the mother, she seemed to be a full GSD or at least mostly GSD b/c I couldn't recognize any other breed in her. They claimed the father was a boxer, but I don't know if they did that just to get rid of him? (I got him from an accidental litter at a local area where they were keeping all the puppies outdoors in teh middle of january / february!) He has a LOT of extra skin around his neck (i mean enough to grab a fistful or more) that he doesn't seem like he will grow into... just seems like it will remain hanging there. I don't know if it makes a difference.
Here are a couple more pictures. The last picture uploaded is of him at 3 or 4 months at 30-40 lbs. Couldn't find too many with his whole body in view! Guess I take too many of his face cuz hes just too darn cute!

Some other features... white paws, white chest line, black moles on both sides of the face, and black spot of fur near his butt right above his tail (it has faded a bit as he got older, very distinguished as a pup).
Also the fur on the back of his hind leges is longer and white.... and it seems like a shorter version of shepherd hair where it kindof flows out.

That is a Dane! Poor GSD Mom... must'a been something being caught by a Dane, then to birth his puppies! uggh.

He's adorable! (and a Dane! LOL)

I'm really, really interested to see what he actually is! He might be a mix of 2 or 3 breeds perhaps? The owner of the mom claimed the dad was a boxer.... perhaps he was more of a mastiff/dane and they just didn't know much about breeds? The only thing that makes me convinced he has boxer in him is his personality screams boxer. he does EVERYTHING with his paws: play with dogs, play with toys, ask for attention, grab for stuff that gets stuck somewhere.... he's got the energy of a boxer, the goofyness, playfulness, the energy bursts, the groaning, moaning and other vocal cues he uses, his HORRIBLE gas! haha!. I definitely see the shepeherd personality as he is always alert to his surroundings, weary of new people but friendly once he is introduced. (he's also a little paranoid and not as relaxed as your average dog but he's been like that since I brough him home... although he gets a little better day by day...).

Anybody know any reliable DNA Breed testers? I looked some up, but all have TERRIBLE reviews or are REALLY expensive.
Not that it matter what breed he is... but the curiosity is killing me! Almost everyone who sees him in person asks "is that a ridgeback?"....

I tell em... I have no idea! All I know for sure is he has some shepherd in him!
