Default What kind of breed is my puppy?
This Simba! He's 4 months old and the rescue I got him from said he was Yorkie-poodle mix, but he sheds a ton and doesn't look like any yorkie-poodle mix I've seen. The vet says it looks like he might have some Pomeranian in him. Any other thoughts? Thanks!!

He is so lovely. Just because a dog has poodle in him there is no guarantee that he will be non shedding but aside from that I agree that it looks as though there is pomeranian in him.

At 4 months there is room for him to grow and change a lot so it would be great to see lots more pics of him over the coming weeks/months to see what he looks like when he has matured a bit more.

From what I understand (and what the rescue told me as well), Yorkie-poodle mixes are supposed to be non-shedding/hypo allergenic. I'm so glad my allergies haven't been acting up with his shedding because he is the cutest/most amazing puppy ever!

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"
