Default What breed(s) do you think my mutt is?

Sorry, been struggling with images. Here they are. He is about 30-35 pounds at age 5.

Thanks for any ideas you have!

Thanks! I posted pics rather than having a link to my flickr.

Not sure I am going to guess this one--Reminds me of a Jack Russell Terrier--face/markings, but weighs too much for that breed and the tail is wrong but may be some Jack Russell with some other breed(s) mixed in. I'm sure you will get more replies but may have to be patient as this is the weekend (long one at that!) and forum is usually not that busy on weekends.

I take it that you meant 5 years old? How did you get him and what do you call him? Wondering if there is some 'Spitz' in the mix too (tail, etc)

Yes, I meant 5 years. I got him from someone who worked for me years ago, when his dog had puppies. The dogs were headed to the pound. He was not a great pet owner, and told me his dog was a pit and the other dog was a spitz. The different vets in my office have been all over the place with suggestions. If people ask I usually go with Jack Russell Terrier mix. He's full of energy (never seems to tire out) and has quite the personality, so I feel like that fits with the breed.

I don't really care too much what breed he is, He's a happy, health, good dog and that's enough for me, but I'm moving and potential landlords seem obsessed with the "What breed is your dog?" question, so I feel like I need to try to label him.

Well maybe I'm not too far off after all? You know the reason landlords ask what the breeds are don't you! Pitbulls get a bad rap and in a lot of places the landlords don't want that breed around! I sure wouldn't say that it was any part pitbull to your potential new landlord or you might not be allowed to have your dog there!!! It's not fair but that is the way it is.
