Hello! We adopted a puppy from the shelter and they said hes a german shepard mix but they do not know what he is mixed with we are thinking his ears may be like a jack russell terriers? He also has a very unique tail it almost looks like someone braided it. could anyone help me? I have attached a picture

He's gorgeous. I can see the GSD in him but he really is too young for anyone to know what else might be in there. You'll find he will change a lot over the next few months - he will fill out a bit and his coat could change completely.

The ears aren't Jack Russell - JR ears should fold down completely. I reckon those ears will stand up as he matures.

It will be interesting for you to see the changes in him as he grows up. Take lots of photos - he won't look like he does now for long.

As Cigwyllt said --too young yet to really know but I see the GSD too! Wanted to say "Very handsome guy!" Can you show a pic of that unique tail---very curious, lol! I take it that your pup's name is Scooby?
