Find out Your Dog's Breed
For everyone asking what breed or mix their dog is, there is a test available. It's called "Who's Your Daddy?" DNA Breed Identification Test Kit by Bio Pet Vet Labs. It can uncover the breed composition present in your dog. I believe it costs about $78. I've never used it because I have a certified purebred, but it sounds very interesting.

I'm sorry, but until they improve the DNA test kits, they are a joke. Most are not very accurate.

Dear Lunareclipse,
If you had some real experience with this test, please tell us why you don't think they're accurate. Thanks.

Not to mention most can only test for around 200 breeds and there's over 700 breeds of dog. So if a breed your dog is mixed with doesn't fall into the few hundred they're able to test for you won't get accurate results.

I had one of those tests done on my saint bernard and it came back 49% chihuahua 51% jack russel terrier.
This is the dog we had tested. We didn't even request a test to tell us what breed she was. We requested a test to see if her epilepsy was genetic or if something happened to her when she was a puppy to trigger seizures. Does she look like a chihuahua/jrt to you?

Nope. I can honestly say for sure that neither of those dogs are present in that picture. If they are , then I seriously have to get my eyes checked!!

That picture is my favorite picture of Luna. She died in March a few days after my birthday. But that was the pooch we had tested.

I think the only thing that might make me think she has chihuahua in her is that shes sitting in your lap, and chihuahuas are a lap dog. Boy thats a big beautiful dog.

She definitely thought she was a lap dog. We didn't mind though. She was sick most of the time and we didn't know how much time we had left with her.

Maybe there was a Chihuahua in between her toes.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"
