You're absolutely right reeskujo, and the one with front black paws seem to be more of a Labrador... He's already bigger, and almost completely black...

On top of it, even if they're more than 2 breed mixed, it calms my mind to know some more about their pedigree.... It's not always fun to be that much obsessed about knowing like me....

My mom has two litter mates that are rescues..They're Chow/Lab mixes..The sister looks just like a Lab and the brother looks just like a Chow..So it just depends on what traits they carry from what breed.

DNA splitting is one the most unpredictable lottery! We have 23,000 protein-coding genes... Each spermatozoon contains half the genetic information, and same for the ovum... So combinations are almost infinite!

Default Did you know?

Now let's look at the Border collie. Firstly, it is number 1 on the list of intelligent dog breeds.

In January 2011, a Border collie was reported to have learned over a thousand words, and the acts associated with those words.
What a mix! Glad to know Border Collie are ranked first on breed intelligence list combined with the nice behavior of Labradors...

Furthermore, the Borador hypothesis is getting more evidence.... Check that Wikipedia Link (even if Wikipedia is sometime doubtful...)

Having been in nursing for 20yr.s I know how true that is..It's even more unreliable when it comes to dog breeds..As of now most DNA tests can only identify roughly 200 breeds and since there's many more then that unless your dog falls in the category of the ones they can test for you won't get accurate results.
