Found 2 abandonned puppies in a park...

I've found these 2 abandoned puppies in a park near my city. I'm pretty sure they're from the same mother...same age.. different size though...I'm not really a dog specialist so I can't guess exactly what breed they are... Can anyone help me? If they are mixed, can anyone guess % of breed from each breed...

I've been helping them to recover for a week now... I might have to find them owners since I can't keep 2 dogs in my apartment...

Any idea what breed these small Labbrador puppies are mixed with?

They do look like Lab mixes but it's very hard to tell when they're that young and there's no way to tell the percentage of a dogs mixes except for maybe a DNA test and those are not reliable.

DNA testing seem unreliable, and I'm not planning to investigate that deep to know

I just wanted to know your guess about which breed it might be... So i understand it's labrador dominant, and for another breed it's difficult at this young age... If anyone can guess another possible mix with those lab puppies, you're welcome in this thread...

Yes as of now I'd say it's Lab dominant however it's not at all unusual for a puppy to look very,very different as they get closer to a year old then they did when they were 2 or 3 months old..My Akita who's picture is my avatar was gray and white when I picked him up from the breeder at 8 weeks and as you see he's certainly not that color now and his color had completely changed by the time he was 6 months old..Mixed breeds can have even more extreme changes in the way they look..They may look like one breed at 3 months and a totally different breed by the time they're a year.

And just by curiosity... Since I found them abadoned... How old are my puppies? I'm not that used with guessing puppy ages... I guess they must be more than 2 months...3, 4?? What's your guess?

They don't look to be much more then 2 months, 3 at the most..Of course that's just going by the pictures..Does it look like they have all of their puppy teeth?

I'll take a picture tommorow and post it! That's a good idea to evaluate from their teeth... I'll let them sleep for now.... But I hope you can be back tommorow reeskujo. And if you can as a moderator, could you unlock me the possibility to post pictures in my threads instead of publishing them outside this forum? If I remember, we must have 50 posts prior to have this priviledge, but as you can see, I'm not trying to make troubles in this forum...

Unfortunetly that's something the Admin has to do and Luna and I are going to try and get changed..However we're all having to use Photobucket as the attachments used to upload pics directly to the forum isn't working..I'm here everyday and usually for a good part of it as well..I did want to suggest that if at all possible you get them checked by a vet..if they were abandoned then I would say the probability of them not having shots is pretty high..if they were in the park they're at risk of having picked up a variety of things such as Parvo..Puppies should not be allowed outside until they're 8 weeks or older and until they've had 2 rounds of puppy shots which is usually done by 8 weeks..I'm pretty positive they haven't been wormed either..All puppies have worms and need to be wormed at least twice..be sure not to over feed them either..Puppies have a tendency to act like they're starving even when they're not and it's extremely common with Labs.

BTW,you did a wonderful thing for the little fur balls and most likely saved their little lives..Thank you!!

You're absolutely right about starving labs... When I read that, I realise how much they were asking for food... They seem to be wanting more and more! And that's the same with water! They drink way too much... pee all over the place, and drink even more... I started to give them less water, and after your comment, I'll slow down with food either. Thank you

As far as feeding them,look on the side of their dog food bag..It'll tell you to give them so many cups per day...Whatever the amount is split it up into 3 feedings..A lot of puppies especially Labs do better that way..As for their water you can control the amount they get like giving them a bowl full every 2hr.s and then stopping it at least 2hr.s before they go to sleep for the night..what you want to remember that they usually have to go within 15-30 minutes after eating or drinking and usually can't hold it longer then an hour,2 at the most..So by giving them food and water at a set time you'll know that within 15 minutes or so they'll have to go to th bathroom.

BTW, my first dog was a found puppy. My neighbours found her by the water when they were out boating. We named her Islander, and had 11 1/2 wonderful years with her. Love her and miss her.
