Default Does anyone know what my Ellie is mixed with??

We got Ellie 2 years ago in Jan. from a couple on craigslist. She was 12 weeks old when we got her, so that would make her 2 sometime this month.
We were told she was part German Shepherd and part Shar Pei. Which I'm thinking that those 2 still factor in but I also think shes something else so I figured I'd ask and see if anyone else has any thoughts.
One of the main things that started getting us to question about the breeds is how small she is, she only weighs about 30 pounds and is about 26" when she's on all fours.
Another thing is she's very friendly, and excellent with kids. My daughter was actually one of them kids who would be mean to their dogs as soon as you turned your back and never once did she snap at her or even act like it bothered her, which you know it would have to hurt getting your ears and tail grabbed, but now they are inseparable.

Since I'm unable to post pics you can copy and paste the link below and see what she looks like. The are pics from when when first got her at 12 weeks and then some that were taken today.

oh and the reason I'm pretty sure she is part Shar Pei is because she does have the full purple tongue. The only 2 breeds that have the full tongue is Shar Pei and Chow so since she said Shar Pei I'm thinking that may be correct.

Welcome to the forum!!
I would have to say German Shepherd is in there for sure. But I'm abit confused on the weight and height. From the pictures, she looks heavier than 30 lbs and did you measure her height at the shoulders or to the top of her head. It can be hard to tell from pictures.
She is beautiful and very friendly looking though.
Have fun here.

She looks heavier when she's sitting or laying but she was having a lazy day today and didnt want to get up so I wasnt able to get a pic of her walking around. She's very thin, you can see her ribs which I dont understand because she eats a lot. We feed her either kibbles and bits or purina dog chow. I was estimating the height to, when she's playing with my daughter, Ellie comes about to her hips, her body does not her head. So I went off that, not sure how accurate it was, it sounded like a better idea then.

I looked up some of the lab/gsd mix and she does resemble them. I'm figuring she has a few mixes in her just figured I'd see what everyone thought. Oh and she's actually about 40 pounds, not sure how I was so off on that one which she still is very small.
