Hello, this is my first post here.
My wife and I just adopted a dog from our local shelter last week and she is great! She had a litter of puppies in June and everyone adopted the puppies but nobody wanted the mother. We've had her since Thursday and so far everything has been great! She walks great on a leash, knows how to sit, stay, down, shake and heel.

We named her Penny Lane.
I was wondering if you all could help us identify what type of mix breed she might be. She's part black lab, but obviously not full blooded. She only weighs 33.6 pounds.

That is one very happy and content looking dog. Good for you to bring Penny Lane into your home!!
Black lab for sure, the rest is a question for me. She is thin, but I've heard that after having pups, it's quite common to lose weight. But she is certainly not unhealthy looking thin.
Is there a story behind her name? Penny Lane sounds like a song?
