I just got Riley 3 days ago and was told he was a Dorgi(Daschund/Corgi mix). I looked up pictures of that mix and none of them look anything like my dog. He has eyes so light blue that they are almost white. You can look at the picture in my album if that will help. He is 4 months old and is already a good foot tall at the shoulders and his paws are a good 2 1/2 inches across. he looks kinda like a lab, has short hair and black and gray spotted markings kinda like an Australian Shepherd with brown paws and brown chest with a large white patch.
He is playful and is great with my 9 and 11 year old boys.

Thank you for your help. no matter what breed he is we love him and think he is the most beautiful dog ever! :mrgreen:

To be honest with you you're puppy is still to young to even try and guess what his mixes may be..Usually by 8 mths or so they've pretty much developed whatever their look is going to be..Markings,coat color,size etc..We usually recommend to all members to wait until the pup is between 6-8 months to ask people what they think as up until that age some dogs can change quite a bit.

What a distinctive looking pup! I certainly wouldn't want to hazard a guess as to what he might be but the colouring could be Cardigan Corgi - they are very different from the Pembroke.

As everyone here says--too young yet to make a good guess but my 1st impression was that there might be Australian Shepherd in the mix. And you may be right about Lab in there too. Just keep us updated with new pics as he gets older and you see changes in his looks.

If had to guess this too is what I would guess. I see alot of this mix in my dog classes and your puppy looks alot like these mixes. Very cute dog. Love his coloring and eyes.
