Default Up for a challenge...we have a mystery dog..lol!

This is Vader, he is very tall and long and lanky weighs about 60 pounds. He does not bark but is very vocal...a deep wooow wooow noise...i should get a video of it He has a very high prey drive, is VERY intelligent, and very protective. but is also very set in his routines, and gets antsy when his routines are messed up. his crate is his safe place and will go in there when he is feeling stressed...he does not like to be bothered when he is in his crate but will come out when called. He is very loving and good with older kids...not babies, as he does not like to be poked and prodded..lol..he is very FAST there is no doubt he could catch a deer, not that we would encourage that, its just he is that fast when he runs, he can also jump VERY high with out getting a running start.

He was found in a field abandoned about 4 months old and was running with a sheltie puupy. we have had him ever since.Learned his name in 1/2 a day, was potty trained in 1 day, knew the commands for sit and down, and went right in his crate with no trouble....

Thats all we know about him, he does seem to have some anxiety and fear issues but we dont know what happened to him while he was running loose, he must have belonged to soemone, but no owners came forward.

A few months after we had him, our daughter was knocked unconcious playing basketball in our church and he stuck to her like glue...laid with her 24/7....he is a incredible and VERY smart dog!

any ideas on his breed mix, we have heard all kinds of possibilities....lab,shepherd,boxer,border collie, husky, malamute,

i guess i cant post pics till i have 50 posts

if you go to you tube and type

"Forever Kind Of Love~Border Collie/German Shepherd Mix"

"My Best Friend~Border Collie/German Shepherd Mix~"

"Help! What breeds are my dog!!??(JUST FOR FUN)! "

you will be able to see him

What a lovely boy. At first glance he reminded me of my parents' dog who is the product of a labrador x poodle mother and a goldern retriever father but his ears and face are quite different. He has the same lanky build but more of a shepherd or collie face. I think he is destined to remain a very handsome enigma LOL

retriever something, to my eye - but the face, definitely looks shepherd to me.
