Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows anything about a Laparatsu. I can't find any info and don't know where the name ever came from. I asked two vets and they never heard of it, just suggested it could be a form of a lhasa apso and shih tzu mix. My dog is a laparatsu and poodle mix, so cute and fluffy and furry but just need to know-what's a laparatsu?! Thanks

It sounds like a made up name for a cross breed. If it is important to know what your dog's breed is then buy from a responsible breeder where you can see the pup with it's mother.

Unscrupulous people put two breeds together, give them a fancy name and say it's a new breed and charge a fortune for the pups. Ten years ago they all had the same name - mutt.
