i have a patterdale terrier bitch and a patterdale terrier mix dog, i think they are one of the best dogs you can get as a house dog, although they do have hunting instincts which can not be helped. the best thing to do when your out walking your patterdale is keep it on the lead to keep it out of trouble.i would advise anyone who wants a small house dog thats good with kids to get one of these dogs

Do you have pictures of your dogs? I have never seen a patterdale!
