Default Jack Russels

Lets talk about the dog breed Jack Russells. I have a gorgeous three year old Jack Russell called Millie.
I have had her since she was eight weeks old.
Has anybody else here got a Jack Russell?

Hi I have a Jack Russell called Coco. She isn't a year yet. She is the youngest of our three dogs. What a little character she is. She just does her own thing. One of her faults is she has to chase the car up the track so you have to make sure she is in the house if you are going somewhere or else she will follow the car as far as she can.
What colour is your JR?

I have a JRT named Phoebe. She's the smartest dog I have ever met, but hoo boy is she energetic. But that energy thing is the breed, I know.

I'm just curious, are ALL Jack Russels extremely hyper? I am interested in getting one, but my hubby says no because he says they'll be too hyper. Is this true? I've never had one before & I don't know anyone that has had one, so I really don't know what to think. Thanks.

It's not just a Jack thing, Stacie, it's a terrier thing. But, yes, JRTs are VERY energetic. and it's not like they calm down with age, either!

My parents have a four of those dogs now. They used to have two, and I always got so angry whenever they brought the dogs over because they would pee all around the house (and it wasn't because they weren't let out enough).
