two things:
1)okay so i have this dog that i have nooooooooooo idea what it is.

2)also he barks so much the police have been called on us several times [i live in a very urban area]. i refuse to use a bark zapper. and he still goes to the bathroom in his crate and he's 2 years old. i've tried everything. as a result my mother says we need to get rid of him and get a more calm dog.

any suggestions?

any time your dog barks hold his mouth very gently and use a stern voice while saying no...if this does not help and your dog has to be given away im sorry

He looks like he has some Beagle and maybe Shepherd in him to me.

Where and when does his barking occur?

How often and for how long is he crated for? Has he always eliminated in the crate or is this a new behavior?
