I have a black female lab, she just showed up on my door step one. We think she is about 5-6 months old. We love her so much already. I have 3 chidren ages 9-13, she has never offered in any way to be aggressive with them. The one problem I have with her is that she sheds horrible. I have her in my house and I can sweep 10 times a day and it does no good.

For anyone thinking of breeding or buying a Labrador, it is of paramount importance that parents are hip scored! There are a lot of irresponsibly bred retrievers out there with health problems, and a lot in rescue!
