Default what are benefits of neutering

We aren't sure if we want to get our Dane into breeding or not. Are there any really good benefits to getting him neutered right away (he is around 6 months).

Hiya there,

I've neutered both of my yorkie boys for the following reasons:
1) Makes them less aggressive
2) Neutering decreases chance of prostate cancer
3) Keeps I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS! cleaner
4) Makes them less territory

I hope you'll make a choice that's best for your baby! Ciao!

Thanks for your response. Do they tend to get pretty aggressive when it is around breeding time? Reason I am wondering is.. I've always had dogs, but they have all been neutered by 6 months.

Thanks!

If they don't get aggressive, they will act really weird. You also don't want them going around the neighborhood impregnating all of the neighborhood dogs. It's just cruel to not neuter them if you aren't going to breed. Remember that they might also actually fight for territory with other neighborhood dogs if they aren't neutered.

My aunts dog peed all over the house until he was neutered, it definitely reduces territorialism.

Neutering also decreases the annual fee for the dog tags.
