Default Chewing puppy

I wonder if any of you know what's going on inside little Molly's head. She is 6 months old and since I have 6 dogs, I know that all puppies chew. Well, Molly is intent on chewing up all of my daughter's shoes -- and only hers. She never touches mine. So, I tell her "No", pop her on her nose, take it away from her and give her a chew toy which she promptly buries someplace and goes to search for another of Jenni's shoes. I've tried toys and rawhide and it's always the same thing. She buries those and wants to chew on Jenni's shoes. What is up with this? How do I stop her? I tell my daughter to make sure she always puts her shoes up, but she forgets. 4 pairs of flip-flops and 2 pairs of house slippers so far. I took the velvet heels and her yellow heels away from her in time and Molly doesn't seem to want her tennis shoes. Help!!

There is something distinct that the dog finds attractive about those shoes. The best thing until the dog gets older, is to keep the shoes out of the dog's reach.

Well, I guess I should be thankful they are only $2 flip-flops and $3 house shoes.
