Default remember me dog eating chair

Hi all
All I want to Know is who love who. My great dog that eats my chair and window cell. So I went out and bought a crate for her and I put here in it and she was fine there. The next day my son was home so we went shopping 1.5 hours, then we came home. She got out of the crate. Yes out of the crate, and thats when she eat the chair and window cell. The next day we put here in the crate and went to work. When I came home she was out of the crate again. yes out of the crate again, so we were lucky this time she was in the bedroom on the floor and eat northing.
Next day we brain stormed so we put her in the crate and closed the door just in case she got out again. Well she got out of the crate again, eat the window cell in that room and tore the carpet apart along with the door frame in that room.
what the hell do i do , I dont want to let her go.
what do you thing of a rubber muzzle and no cage.

I have no experience with muzzles but can you put the door part of the crate up against the wall? Maybe position it in a corner so she/he is pushing against an unmoving object????

Our local shelter offers obedience classes for a very reasonable rate, maybe this would be helpful.

I never encountered such a trouble pet like yours. Have you tried training your dog? I guess obedience training will calm your dog and lessen his stuborness.

what about leaving lots and lots of fun chew toys around, a few kongs etc with diffrent treats inside so if pup gets bored with one, it might just focus on another toy with a diffrent scent and treat inside!

I would maybe try like the other posters suggested, chew toys to keep the dog busy while the crate door is against a wall or put something against the door that won't get ruined - like a block - or buy something to tie around the crate door and one of the bars on the other side of the cage. Have you tried "winding him down" by taking him outside and letting him run before putting him in the cage? Something like that might work.

Boy I hope you get everything straightened out.

thank for the help.today was good she didnt get out. but she did tear up the tray on the bottom of her crate. We walk her at least 1 hour in the morning before we leave, and always leave lots of chew toys for her.
I did zip tie the doors close.
thank you again
