Yea pretty much he does. Start him off in a small room by himself with all the things he needs. He might be scared and can't get comfortable so start him off small and he'll work his way up.

Try getting a stuffed animal for him to sleep with and put a small ticking clock in bed with him it will remind him of moms heart beat.

Well it could be that he is used to being with his mom. Try putting him really close to your chest and lay down. If he feels your warmth and hears your heart beat it will remind him you his mom and this should calm him down. If this doesn't work just try giving him a stuff animal to snugle with. He may also be winning because he needs to go to the bathroom. I had a puppy that would only go to the bathroom outside, where as most puppy will go anywhere in the house. Try taking him outside to walk around and use the bathroom.

He probably does. Don't take it personally though. Most puppies will cry when they are first taken into a new home. Just make sure that you show him a lot of love, attention and give him toys. Make him feel at home. Past that I don't really know how to help you. And don't listen to anyone if they say you are mean for making your puppy cry it's not your fault.

Put a stuffed animal in his crate that he can cuddle with, and a radio or ticking clock nearby. Or you can hold him.

i dont think means that the new pupppy feel upset that he missed beingin in his old house . can be something else like have you try to play with him with his toys or even gave him something to eat or even try to take him for walk or even putting him outside to use the restroom so he can go poopin or pee. he can be feel sad that youre not listening to him when he cried . maybe you should pick him up ad place him on youre lap instead maybe he will stop crying after. cause my dog does that too but she does different she willl bark alot or she just tell me to move over so she can jump on my chair and sit by me just sit there not doing anything .

Try contacting the place you got him from and giving him the some of the same things they had. With our dog we put a kennel in a secluded area and left it open with her food and water in it also a snuggly blanket and an old shirt with my scent on it in the kennel, that way she could go in and out of it when she needed to be alone or felt overwhelmed by our 3 children. Make sure it has lots of bones or toys which ever you and your puppy prefer. I found this to be the best way with ours and my parents have always tried to keep what the breeder was doing similar in our home, we've had lots of dogs throughout the years. Good luck and have fun.

6 Dog Training Tips For A Well Trained, Well Behaved Pet
6 Dog Training Tips For A Well Trained, Well Behaved Pet
Dogs are considered man's best friend. Throughout the ages and of all animals, dogs have been man's companion. More than companions, dogs serve a variety of functions. There are working dogs (e.g., police dogs) and dogs that are used as guides for the disabled. Farmers and livestock owners use dogs for herding, and some home owners get dogs specifically to guard their property.

Puppies are naturally just about stuck to their mother. They can have separation anxiety. They can be stressed from a new environment.Try to keep him as close as possible, especially for the first week or 2. He/she needs to feel comforted and secure in its new surroundings.

Hi,
Buy your dog a crate, dogs are den animals! Put a blanket and a toy in the crate, make sure you take your puppy for a long walk or play with your puppy until she is tired before putting her in the crate.
While she is in the crate she is going to whine and bark, do not approach or talk to your puppy, if you do this will raise her ansiety and you will be worse off in the end. your puppy will probably whine and bark for a few nights.
Good Luck
Krystal

Put him in a crate and give him lots of attention. You might need to play with him before you go to bed at night. He probably does miss his old home but he'll get used to his new home.

He does miss his home/mom. Try keeping him in a small place kennel box/crate/box. he misses mom's warmth so if you have a heat pad to turn on low (make sure he can't chew cord) or a stuffed animal he can snuggle with that may help. I've also heard that an alarm clock's tick reminds them of moms heartbeat. He is lonely and if you plan on keeping him in the house and sleeping on your bed you can start bonding now.

Something is obviously wrong. My first suggestion would be to call a vet. Until then find a shampoo bottle, rinse it out and fill it with hot water, (it will stay hot for hours). Then get a clock, one that ticks. Lay the puppy next to the hot water bottle, they really like that, and put the clock close to him where he sleeps. Try to lay him in an enclosed area (playpen, kennel, crate etc.), with lots of soft stuffed animals and blankets. This should work. Is he eating? Get him some baby cereal (oatmeal) this is very gentle on his tummy and it will fill him up for the night. Mix it with a little warm water. If all else fails, you may have to lay him next to you or put your hand in where he sleeps for a couple of nights. Do not make it a habit, because puppies are much like babies and they will soon figure out that if they cry, they will get what they want. Just comfort him for the first few days and get him in to see the vet as soon as possible. We have a new puppy too and these are some of the things we have done. My parents are both vets for 16 years, and these are the things they told me to do when I first brought my puppy home. Good luck with your little guy.
