I need advice on how to handle the moodiness and the jumpiness of my akita. She was accidentally bred to a neighborhood dog, so we took her to the vet and had the pups removed and her altered. (She had pms really bad during her cycle.) Now, she mopes around and barks at EVERYTHING. She doesn't calm down as easily as she used to. I tried to taking her for a walk, and that cheered her up for a couple of days, but now it's back to the moodiness. She used to stay with the family, but now she spends most of her time in her kennel. Any advice? I'm concerned about her. I miss my playful baby.
