 Puppy pawing (scratching) legs, furniture, etc.
I have a 6 month old puppy that paws at your leg, or the furniture near you whenever she needs to go out, wants to play, or wants to go on a walk. I have scratches and bruises on my legs from this and am getting tired of the behavior. I have consistently told her "paws off" whenever she does this, but it seems to make her do it more. I have also tried to grab her paw, tell her "paws off", and then set her paw on the floor. Again, she continues pawing. Can someone tell me what I can do to stop this? It's getting very irritating.....:twisted:
