Unhappy Our licking poodles

Our two toy poodles lick their feet or lick the couch or chair everytime they are sitting by us or just sitting. Why? We need to know how to teach them not to do this irritating habit. Just saying "no" doesn't work. Help

Thank you for the info. They have been doing this for quite some time. What kind of chew bones are best for them to chew. Our cream colored poodle, Brandi, does not digest the rawhide chew bones. We have been afraid to get them any other chew bones.

Smile licking poodles

Thank all of you for your helpful replies, with the exception of Gary. I will try the healthy bones to try. I sure hope it works with a distraction.
