Arrow Adding a new puppy

Hello I am new here and was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have two dogs, Jack (2 yr./min pin mix/altered male) and Lady (13 week/pit/female). Jack has never had any aggression problems and is overall a very good dog. We just got lady from a breeder and she seems very sweet. The problem is she seems to do nothing but aggravate Jack, who is a very laid back easy going dog. There is growling on his part, but they share food, toys, beds with little to no fuss. It has been a little over a week now and little has changed. Anyway my question is should I step in when they get into a little spat (up to this point there has been no bitting on his part JUST WARNINGS)? And two they seem to play (rump in the air, rolling around out side, chasing each other ect.), but he still growls are they really playing? I thought things would go smoother then this, he get along with other adult dogs is it just beacuse she pesters him? thanks hope you can help

Ok thanks, It has only been a little while but I started getting worried when my "semi-perfect" dog started acting out. I have been giving them time apart and it seems to help a lot. thanks again

Hi,I'm new to this site but have just read your problem and am having the exact same problem with my 2 yr old lovely sweet lurcher X bitch and new 13 week old whippet pup(male). My main problem is that the pup loves to jump and nip Sasha as and when he wants to! Up to now I haven't got involved as Sasha will just bear her teeth then wander off but Senna the pup is getting more persistant! Any idea when Senna the pup will grow out of this behaviour?
