My dog snores once in a while. Its usually when she is sleeping in an unusual position.

What breed is your dog?

I have a staffordshire bull terrier as I have seen other on here have.

Well she usually sleeps on her side and spreads out liek nobodys business lol, Or she'll curl up into a little ball.

I do have to admit sometimes its funny watching her as she'll have a big snore and she'll shake all over & I think how cute lol.

It can be annoying but no more so than human snoring and a gentle nudge often helps. Just like humans I don't think that thsi is something that can be trained out of person or dog.

At least you can put the dog in another room.

i could never put my dog in another room lol! Yeah I normally give her a little nudge and she settles down I guess I'll have to learn to live with it lol.

Thanks anyway.

My staffies sometimes used to snore but they don't having anything on the Saint Bernard!

I used to work in a kennels that bred them, and there were about 7 laid out in the kitchen.
The noise was absolutely deafening:???:

I haven’t heard about this. So dogs really do snore? I haven’t experienced this with my dog. It’s probably that the dog is on wrong position while sleeping or could be because the dog is overweight. Just like on people. Then overweight one tends to snore a lot rather than the slim ones.

I have 2 pure American Pit Bull terriers & a Pit Bull/Lab mix. They all snore really bad! LOL I used to let the 2 females sleep in the bedroom with me, but my hubby's bad enough! They all sleep out in another room now. I still hear them a lot of times when they're really bad! I've gotten used to it though. I think it's cute.

Oh, & Labradorian, dogs definately do snore. LOL My dogs definately aren't overweight & neither is my hubby. LOL So that's not why they snore. That could be true for some dogs though.

That's how it is around my house. A constant snoring contest with the dogs. There's not much you can do. It's just like if a person snores. My Shih Tzu snores very loudly, so it has nothing to do with breed.
