Default Considering Adding A Member To The Family

We (wife, and I) currently have 2 dogs. An American Bulldog, and a Doberman. We also have a part-time live in American Bulldog. We have almost an Acre so room is not an issue. I am somewhat concerned about my Doberman though. She is VERY needy. She's an emotional dog. I love her to death, I just would like to add another to my family. I don't want my Doberman to become depressed, and withdrawn. I've raised her since she was a small puppy, and she was the runt of the litter.

I'm looking at getting a Boston Terrier. I've always loved the breed, and thought it would be nice to add a smaller family member. Anyone have some insight? Thanks in advance.
