Can anyone help me........

I picked up a one year old dog up on Wednesday from an unwanted home.

This poor dog was living in a flat with a family with two children under 5 and no garden. I really thought i could offer this dog a loving home. This poor fellow has no concept of playing and when taking him out it had become increasingly apparent he isnt used to going out.

The dog is constantly chasing his tail i have tried diverting techniques to no avail. This is causing the dog so much stress not to mention me having to witness it.

I have another dog too and its distressing him too.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Is he getting plenty of excercise?It sounds like he might be bored.Make sure he has a variety of toys to play with and redirect his behavior to his toys and also make sure he's getting plenty of excersise.He may simply be trying to burn of energy.

i think few outdoor exercise like walking in the park, fetching or retrieving will help him

you need to socialize him.

He sounds like he has been bored for a long time and this has become his excersise. Like the others have said, walking him a lot to tier him out will perhaps change his focus. If none of these work, perhaps a professional may be needed or ask your vet.
