Question Strange aggressive behaivor

Hi everyone! Kind of have a strange situation. Let me start by giving you a little background on my dogs. I have 3 dogs, 2 lab mixes and a border collie mix.

In May we had the border collie (Stripe) shaved because it was very hot, he has long hair and he hates the heat. Afterwards, my youngest lab mix (Lucky) just started attacking him viciously, even drawing blood once. Lucky watches Stripe and eyes him everywhere he goes and still tries to get at him (even after Strip's hair grew back) sometimes. We've had to keep them separated ever since.

The strange thing is Lucky didn't have any problem with Stripe until after he came back shaved. And they both get along with our other dog just fine.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I actually heard a similar story about someone's cats. this person gave her cat(zeus) a bath, and the other cat(lincoln), who usually loves zeus.. apparently didnt recognize him without him smelling like.. well him. and would attack him and watch him like if he was a strange cat he'd never seen before. I don't know, but it's possible that Stripe just looked (and maybe if he'd had a bath) but smelled different, and he maybe thinks that he's a different dog? It's such a strange reaction, I know the lady i talked to said that after zeus apparently started smelling more like himself, lincoln stopped..but i'm not sure how you'd remedy the problem. unless there's a way to reintroduce the two.. unfortunately i'm probably not much help, but since you wondered if anyone had heard of something like this, i just thought i'd pass on what i'd heard about the cats. sorry for not having much advice to remedy the issue.
