not a bad idea giving fox a sweater. just think it's a gift that will make fox happy.

my dogs get cold as well...i do have sweaters for them when its cold out...but i also force myself and them to actually walk...even if its cold. taking them out in the yard and just hoping they go probably wont work because they are just thinking about how chilly they are. if you walk them around the block, they get distracted by other things and they forget about the cold...there blood gets pumping and they start sniffin and peeing

Young and old dogs are more susceptible to the effects of the cold. its not a bad idea to give your dog a sweater.

I was wondering about this too, yesterday it was 85 here and my puppy didn't want to sit anywhere but the shade. She has a very thick coat, she is an Eskie, so I figured she was hot. Today we went out and it's cold and rainy, I figured she would be okay since her fur is so thick and warm but it looked like she started shivering before we came in. How do you know if the dog is too hot or cold?
