Hi everyone,

I just recently got a 3 month old yellow lab pup he's a sweetheart and soo lovable! Today he was acting up...in other words...he began to hump my leg!!! What does this exactly mean? I read on some other forums that this means he is the dominant one...hell no, i AM! haha. I am his boss damnit!

I am trying to be consistent with him (potty training) and food schedule. I also spend a lot of my time with him and he even sleeps in my bed beside my foot!!
I take him out every 2 hours but sometimes he still pees in the house.
Any advice about the humping?

plan on getting him neutered by 5 months.

stop letting him sleep in your bed - that makes him equal to you

google NILIF for immediate proceedures that will make your dog much more pleasant to live with.

start him in obedience classes.

make sure he is getting at least 2 brisk runs a day for 20 minutes or so

I have a 11 week old shihtzu, and he has this fetish I guess you could call it. He likes to hump one of my teddy bears I got for valentines day. All he wants to do is hump it. I'll take him out to potty, then he comes back inside humps the bear, runs and eats, then goes back to humping. All day, it's back and forth, food/water to humping.
Even like now, he just went outside and was let in and went to the bear. Every time i tell him to stop he does then goes back to it when I'm not looking. I move the bear, then he finds something else to hump, like my dog's face. She doesn't like him at all.
He's too young to be neutered, so what else do I do?
