Exclamation She's so jelous

my dog is a rotti cross mastiff and very jelous, when someone comes near me, she gets up and comes in between, she has killed 2 cats because they had my attention, she cries if i dont say hello to her, please any advice would be great, what can i do to stop her jelous out bursts, other than that she is a very good dog.

Oh I think you and your dog have a really good bonding...she didn't even allow anyone to get near you...lol...anyway, maybe you should trained your dog to mingle to other dogs so that her attention can be spit out not only on you...

Sounds like she needs some serious behavior training. And fast...if she has killed two cats just for the fact that they had your attention, you could have a bigger problem than you think, if she gets more possesive and starts snapping and being aggressive to people. Bonding with your dog is fine, but this borders on obsessive. Check with your vet about any behavior specialists in your area and get a hold of one quick. She will be fine with training, I am sure, but you don't want her to feel so insecure that no one can go near you either, that's not good for her either. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.
