Question Husky Puppy Help

I just recently got a 3 month old Husky who is doing great, but I have some worries. I did a lot of research before I chose this bread, and I know they love to be with the pack but I also know they are suppose to be very high energy dogs (which is great for my lifestyle). However my little guy Dryden loves to sleep and lounge around the house. He has little spirts of energy, and will run around with my other dog (6 yr old Shepherd) but then he will just lie down and relax until its time to play, eat or go outside. We walk him and our other dog together for 20-30 minutes a night... but slow and he keeps up fine without being tired(the sheperd gets run 3-5km a day... this will continue with the pup as he gets older)

He is healthy, but this worries me. Is it because our big guy is so calm that he feeds off from this???? Is this normal for a 3 month old Husky??? We have to wake him up to go outside sometimes lol. Or am I just being over worried and this will change and im going to miss these calm days????

Some one please let me know. Im being over paranoid.

Thanks

Young puppies tend to sleep a lot in the first few months....it's not uncommon....If he doesn't pick up his energy level in a few weeks then you may want to speak to your vet but most likely he's just being a typical puppy and napping a lot...Enjoy it while you can...LOl...I have a Husky to and once she hit about 5 months there was no stopping her and at almost 2 yr.s old she still has enough energy for five 2 yr.olds.

ditto reeskujo remarks, enjoy the peace and quite now as I can assure you in a few short weeks you till pray for it. At 3 months these guys are still full blown infant pups, do not let their size tell you otherwise. Most breeds do not really start getting overly active til around 5 to 6 months and then when they do they make up for loss time. Excessive sleeping may seem odd to you but to a puppy, this is very normal behavior.
