Corgi puppy nibbles on my Lab. What to do?
We just got a welsh corgi mix. She is 9 months old. She likes to play with my 9 year old White Lab Mix by nibbling/biting mostly her neck and sometimes her legs.
I think my white lab Nina knows that the corgi Jenny is playing, but she can't manage to "play" back.... the corgi is too small and moves too much for her to do anything back to her. The corg does all of the roughhousing. Do you have any suggestions as to what to do? Let the corgi to continue bugging her? Nina seems to allow her to do it, but she doesn't look like she's enjoying it all too much because she can't seem to "get her back". I don't think Nina knows how to play back because she's never experienced anything like this before.
Maybe she'll learn to get used to it and learn how to roughhouse back?
Sometimes the young corgi gets too rough and has Nina trying to run away from her...
