Default Why does have my puppy have so much energy?

People say puppies are always sleeping. Apparently I have a psycho that refuses to give me a break! She is a 11 weeks old Pomeranian that I have had since she is 8 weeks old. I don't know what time she wakes up, but I wake up at 7:30. Let's just say she is awake every morning when I go downstaisr.

Anyway here is our schedule

7:30 Wake up time/Play time
8:00 Breakfast/pee/poop
8:40 Play time
9:00 Crate until 12
12:00 I come home from work and let her out to pee. Walk for 10 minutes and then lunch
1-3:45 Crate
3:45-4:00 Quick break for bathroom and hugs
4;15-6 Crate until i come home from work.
6-6:45 Walk and run for 25 minutes
7-7:30 Dinner
7:30-10:00 Playtime

I can tell you she is not always sleeping in the crate, so not sure why she is so energetic even after 25 minutes of walking and running at night. Anyone know how I can make her sleep more, especially during the crate hours? Also how is she able to go from 6-10 without naps?? She did it a few times at the start, but now the nap time is gone

Thanks

She's a puppy - they're all energy! If you want to tire her out, you're going to have to give he more vigorous exercise...obviously she's not getting enough if she's still that energetic.

Puppies are VERY active!!!! They need walks, playtime, tons of training and attention. Have you started your training classes yet? Some schools offer 30/30 classes that are 1/2 obedience and 1/2 agility that may be something to consider.

Don't know who told you that puppies sleep all the time--human babies, yes, puppies, NOT! You puppy needs EXERCISE. She needs exercise for both her body and her mind. I'd walk her for 45 minutes to an hour morning and evening. I'd also enroll her in puppy obedience.
