Teaching the dog to sit and wait until you give the okay to eat is good--how you do it may or may not be the reason for the shaking. The puppy is very young so don't expect absolute perfection--and give lots of affirmation about it doing things right...even if not perfect.
Your puppy is at the stage where fears can be set. You want to give the puppy lots of praise for being curious and checking out "strange new things" and ignore completely any "scared" behaviors. Don't yell at it! Don't punish it! Let's say that it is scared of a new toy that you bought. Set the toy on the floor and quietly watch the puppy. Do not force it to approach the toy. If the puppy barks or runs, ignore. If the puppy sticks it's nose in the direction of the toy--praise, reward, affirm! As it moves closer to the toy, continue to praise, reward, affirm it's choice to be brave. Do this with everything the puppy fears. Be consistent. Be calm. The puppy can sense your apprehension so if you get tense, puppy will get tense.
