Hey!!
This is the 1st time I saw your post---but even so, don't you think you are a bit impatient!! There might be a lot of those viewers that don't have an answer for you. And when it gets close to the weekend, I think a lot of the 'regulars' take a break and don't get on until the beginning of the week---and when some of them see your post, they may reply, but you being rude (smart-a__) won't give them much incentive to do that. Cool down a bit, please. And there is one person for sure that I know would prob. have some kind of suggestions for you---and there are quite a few trainers in this forum also that might have some answers also. I for one really don't know what to tell you, but I can ask you a few questions that might help others in determining how to answer your question. How long have these 2 dogs been together?? Don't know how intense this situation is---Is the older dog being, so to speak--being beat up or attacked by the younger pup? One thing I can say is from what I've heard before is that the 2 have to decide between
themselves who is the alpha dog--and it isn't necessarily the older dog or not even the gender. Now, like I said I don't know that much about what to do and probably someone will come back with a dif. opinion---but since you are so impatient--I'm trying my best! Unless the younger dog is physically hurting the older dog and if you just got one of them recently it would probably be best for you to be patient and ignore for a little while and let them work it out BY THEMSELVES. You should elaborate a little more to give people more to go on! Is the young dog jealous or insecure? Where did you get this pup---Do you know it's background--what kind of life it had before you got it? I'm assuming (from your last post) that you are an impatient person, if you are--it may not be helping these 2 to try to warm-up to each other--try to keep your cool and not upset them further and make matters worse--and I'm thinking the best thing to do (at least for a while) is to try and ignore them and not add more fuel to the fire. Sorry that is the best I can do.
