I've posted about my rescue's SA before but it is out of control. Yesterday in 2 hours he ate 1/3 of the tray at the bottom of the crate, ate the rug underneath the crate, and bent the bars out of shape. He's been on prozac for 2 weeks, is exercised till he drops, and we've been working on behavior modification for 5 weeks. Yesterday when I walked out the back door a few feet to the garbage he almost went through the glass door he was so worked up. I'm pretty much at the end of my rope. He's hurting himself and I'm just sick from worrying and being frustrated. I feel like a horrible person for considering rehoming - especially since i'm not sure anyone else would be willing to tackle his problems. Any words of wisdom or suggestions?

Have you ever thought about getting another dog, so the other dog that has SA wont be so lonely?? I dont think that you need to rehome him. I think that you should take some more time to work with him...and mabye get another dog so he wont feel so alone??

Ive heard DAP works wonders, never used it myself though
