Without fail, everytime I am on the phone, my 9 month old puppy starts biting me. This has been going on for the last few weeks. It is not mean biting, as he acts the same way when he wants to play. However, he starts getting a little aggressive, as he bites, growls and jumps at me. Sometimes, when I am on my laptop, he acts the same way, but it is definitely every time I am on the phone. Is he just mad because I am not paying attention to him? He is an obedient dog, but even well I tell him no, he does not give up. It is starting to become a problem, because I am getting scratches and bite marks all over my arms. I just have never heard of this - any ideas?

i just wanna say something extreme. i think your connivance caused his unrestrained behavior. to be stricker with him. gradually you could realize it's effective. do some violence a little bit if you could . but dont hurt him. just threaten him.

I think the best thing you could do would be ignore him. Simply act like he is not even there until you get off the phone. If he continues to do it after a couple of weeks there is something else going on.
