So I have a little problem....when I leave my house I usually put my little dachshund in his crate but when I know I am going to be gone for a long time and wont be able to go home and let him out I leave him out but close my bedroom door. I live in a small one bedroom apartment and my living room and kitchen are hardwood floors and my bedroom is carpet so if he has an accident it will be on the hard floors instead of carpet and recently he has been scratching at my bedroom door and scratching the paint off of it. I am wondering why he is doing this?? I am trying to get some ideas of what I can do to correct this because he hasnt ever done this except recently. Any ideas??
