Angry toy poodle poops (#2) on our bed

Out toy poodle is good about going outside for both pee-pee and poddy except once it is dark we can' take him out becuase of cyotes. So I take him outside many times during the day. He has two pads in the hall that he uses if he needs to go during the night and he will use them for both. It is during the late evenings that we are having the problem and today when we were gone for a coule of hours.

He is confined to the hall and our bedroom if we are gone and the hall and our office if is late evening. Now we put a gate on the bedroom door late evenings but we are gone we hate to close him off in just the hall, so we left the bedroom door open were he could have something to lay and mostly be able to see outside.

Twice now he had pottied on our bed, once on my side, once on my husbands side.. I have no idea how to stop this or why does he does this.

His pads are in the hall like they always are and he peed there and pottied on our bed today. HELP.

If you have him on a leash and you take him for a short distance around your house at night--Why can't you take him out just long enough to do his business-coyotes or no coyotes!? How long have you had him and when did he start doing this on the bed? I also know that poodles are one of the smartest dogs--and maybe he is 'getting even' with you for not taking him with you---I get the impression he is probably spoiled and wants his way. I know someone who has a part poodle--very smart--but he has done things to get even w/the owner before!!

You might want to look into using a crate when you are gone for short periods of time and at night--IF IT IS NOT MORE THAN 8 HRS (at night until morning) for going to potty. There are a lot of members in here that can tell you about crate traing, etc. I do not use them, no need, but it sounds like a good idea in this case and the other members can give you better info than I can!

of course you can use a crate for this period of time, but this will not solve your Problem. Only that it can not have the possibility to do its business on your bed.

Tell something more about his behaviour in other situations.
Where is he during the night, I mean where does he sleep?

And why do you think is it for your poodle important to look outside?
Where is he, when you come back home?
