Wilfred's Mom is on a distinguished road
Default Dog Behavior

My young (2 y.o.) French Bulldog has just started burying his food. He was acting weird with his dish as though he was afraid of it, dancing around it for about 15 minutes. I took the food out of the dish and placed it on a napkin that he proceeded to push until the food was buried. He has not eaten a meal in 4 days (even people food) and seems disinterested. Can anyone tell me if this is a temporary issue, behaviorial problem or illness that needs veterinary attention? What would have started this unusual behavior?

I'm not sure what is going on with your dog, but if he hasn't eaten anything in 4 days, then he definately needs to see a vet. Poor guy. I hope he gets better!

Try checking his mouth. Maybe he's got a wound or something that makes him not want to eat. If he pushes away all kinds of food served to him then there's probably a problem with the dog. Could be physiologic or psychological. He might have had a bad experience with the food you served him and you weren't aware of it. Go take him to a vet.
