Default need help with my sheltie!

we adopted a young shelite that is now in a cold climate and wasn't before. She isn't fitting in like I expected.
We have 2 other shelties. This new one won't eat much, won't drink much at all, won't go potty or poop much.
I've never experienced this behavior before. It has me filled with high anxiety.
I'm thinking she's depressed and doesn't like her new environment.
Can anyone help shed some light?

You have a new dog that is just that a dog, not a puppy. It is in a new situation and like you if you had gone through the same thing, is nervous and feels out of place. With all dogs that are fostered and adopted, they need time to acclimate themselves and time to feel secure in their new surroundings. The biggest fear is that they will be passed on to some new place again. Everything in due time, not yours, theirs.
