Dog pees when he gets scared.
Ok well i got this new dog a while back, About the size of a house phone, Was maybe 2 weeks old. And i held him all night long, he would sleep with me and i just fell in love with him.. Then he started to get bigger, At this point he's the biggest he will get which is about a foot tall. No one in my family likes him, He tears up every thing, So they would hit him every single time he did it, And he would not stop tearing up things, So my brother started hitting him harder and harder every time he would do it, But then this lead on to where he pees at every little thing, And when he does pee my brother hits him, and he pees more. Hes even scared of me.. Some times i would hit him really really hard when he would pee on important things, like my home work. But i would never hit him if he just peed on the floor are any thing, I knew he was scared so did not want to hurt are make him more scared.
The only thing i can do to make it so i CAN play and touch him is feed him some food and why he is eating it i will pet him, and do this a few times and i can get where he will not pee at all. But 1 to 2 hours later he gets right back to peeing.
Any help? I really love this dog, and i am going to have to get rid of him if he keeps doing this.

So, because everybody in your family beat and abused this dog when he got excited or scared and weed, you have to get rid of him? Honestly, you don't deserve a dog. It would be best if uyou found him a loving home. I can understand a small, light tap on the rump if your dog snarled, growled or bit you. You have been beating this puppy for being scared.
Dogs are mans best friend. Would you go outside and hit one of your friends for being scared? Sometimes I wonder how somebody can persuade a breeder/shelter to let them have a dog. Why on earth would you want to beat, hit, and hurt your dog? Rehome the dog. You clearly don't love the thing if you beat it for weeing on homework. They made tables for reasons, and one of those reasons was to keep things off the floor. Your dog can't pee on or chew things if it can't get to them.
Now my rant is over, let me answer the question. -_- You cannot do anything to stop your dog flinching, peeing or cowering when you raise your hand. Even my passed dogs, which had allot of discipline because 'hands were the way' back then, wouldn't pee everywhere. Everyone could go up to the dogs and give them a fuss. I cannot understand how somebody could hurt a dog that much - it pees whenever you look at it for goodness sake! How did it even get to that point?
The only thing I can think of which will help the peeing a tiny, iney little bit is actually showing your dog love, keeping your hands off of it, give it food from your hand whenever it walks over voluntarily, and keep the other family members away from it. It seems as though your brother is doing most of the beating, so keep the dog away from him.

You didn't mention why you had a puppy that was only two weeks old but, that is WAY too young for it to be separated from its mother and litter mates.
As for your family situation, that poor puppy is being abused badly. The best thing you could possibly do is to find a loving home for the poor thing a.s.a.p. There is something terribly wrong with people who would hit any dog, particularly a tiny puppy. No wonder the poor thing is so scared that it pees. Also, a dog isn't really even capable of learning toilet training at such a young age.
Do the poor little thing a favour and get it out of your house before it becomes so psychologically damaged that the situation is no longer fixable if it hasn't happened already. And, for heaven sake, DON'T get another animal of any kind as long as you're living under that roof. I don't believe that any animal would be safe living in that environment. What is happening here is cruelty and abuse, pure and simple.

Let me say something, I take care of that dog very much mm k? I said MY BROTHER did not aight? I am not around my dog 24 I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!ing 7. And yes i would have to get rid of him, I am moving into a new house and the land lord will not allow dogs like this. And i do not know for sure how old he was when my sister gave him to me, just pulling something out of my mind. I would never hurt animals at all, and most of all, dogs. One of my favorite animal. And if i am so "not loving" and do not know how to take care of "animals" i have 3 iguanas, 2 dogs, 3 snakes, and 46 hamsters, and i bought ever single one of them, you think i would spend 2k on animals i am not going to take care of? Get real. The land lord said i could keep the house long has i keep the house clean with all the animals. But i am not going to lock my dog up in the back all his life, i would rather get rid of him instead of locking him up.
You really pissed me off, i thought this would be a good forum. Animals are like my life and from what you said.... I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS! you and I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS! this forum.
Might not reply to this, not coming back to the forum any ways.

Excuse my impatience, or not. Owners who beat/hit their animals for wrecking simple things that can be explained & replaced don't deserve the love and companionship of dog. Getting one negative post is hardly a reason to leave a forum.

There is nothing to excuse. Someone like that should not be in charge of any living thing. What you told this person was absolutely correct!
