Default Well done :-)

I'm so glad you have decided to stick with him.

Noah obviously has problems and who better to help him through than someone who loves him and who has committed themselves to seeing it through. If you were to rehome him who is to say he would have a better home - it could be that he is unable to bond closely with anyone at this stage and he could end up being pushed from home to home without anyone actually loving him at all.

Try the tips you've been given and just let him have his own space and do his own thing as long as it doesn't break the rules Who knows - in a few months you may be posting and telling us that he is a different dog! I hope so! But even if that is not the case at least you can be sure that he is with an owner who loves him unconditionally and wants the best for him - YOU!

Cool

Was just going to say just about the same thing Cigwylt posted about word for word but he got his post in before I knew about it. I am also glad you are keeping the puppy and I really like the attitude you have now about it. You know that puppy needs to be loved even if it has a hard time accepting it. In time things will prob. improve and with the new attitude you will prob. be more relaxed and so will the pup which could also help improve things. Good luck! Keep us posted---Want to hear a 'happy ending' to this!

Glad you decided to keep the little guy! Continue to show him love and you'll know in your heart e loves you back.

One more question, you say your dog shows more affection to your husband. Who feeds the dog? You or your husband? Often times dogs will show more affection to those who feed them.

Todd, if you read her original post, she tells this information.

Glad you decided to keep the little one. It is possible in time that it will come around but for the time being it still has memory of the event that happened.
Good luck and just keep trying. Patience is not just a virtue when it comes to people but is essential when it comes to pets. This one will require a great deal of your patience but in the end the reward can greatly outweigh the time and effort it took to get there.
