My recently adopted dog after beig groomed now refuses to walk and when he tries he bites his tail..what can it be????

TAKE YOUR DOG TO A VET.. don't mean to yell, but it sounds to me like some bad groom did something to his anal glands and likely did a LOT of damage down there.

No questions about it, get your dog to a vet ASAP. In the mean time, don't try and force him to walk or do anything he doesn't want to do, you will just traumatize him more.

if you bring him to the vet and there is no medical condition, you will need to contact a behaviorist because the second likely scenario is that the groomer was rough and mentally traumatized the dog.. Either way, NEVER go back to that groomer.

I AGREE! If you find out the groomer did, in fact, harm your dog (physically or mentally), speak with their supervisor and tell everyone who will listen so no other dog has to endure any kind of abuse/mistreatment at their hand!

You have to check your dogs very carefully until you find a groomer you trust - I agree that the pup needs to get checked out.
