Oh my dear, there you have a fellow....

first question: how much contact did your bitch have during her "imprinting" phase to humans?
second question: what does the vet. say? It is neccessary to visit a vet to exclude organic courses.
third question: how is her behaviour when on the leash? Does it change?

How about feeding time? Can you touch her? Or does she run away?

Please give some more informations! Thanks.

it was hard for her when we brought her home it took me three weeks to get her to even come near me and gain her trust
as far as her eating omg if we go near her she will run and hide for 2 or 3 hr she is so scard all the time that she is going to get hit we do not hit our dogs at all they are kennel trained as far as Roxie she will also attack us (me) if she is hiding under my desk and i sit there i think she has chosen my desk as her safe place and feels that i am threatening her by sitting

my vet told me that she is abused and was beet bad that she may never put her tail up again how can i get her to trust us more we have had her for four months now i know that isn't all that long but i would think that we would have seen some sort of change on the leash she is scard of every thing and trys to run for the house she dose not like to be out side as she will do out to go potty but that is it

you know you will not hit her, but she has made a very bad experience and to her it is not clear that it won't return to her.
Her connection is: something to eat with a human (especially man) around her = pain

maybe she was punished badly by a man while she was trying to take some sort of food off the table and now cannot eat anymore when a human is near by.

So my recommendation for you: Don't let her off leash, wether inside nor outside as long as under humans supervision. If she is on her own, please release collar and leash of her, to avoid any form of accident.

Leash, because you have her fully under control, she cannot find a hiding place of her own, so that she can elude your leadership and find security where she wants. If she has too much alternatives, she will not find the way to you and therefore safety through the human leader.

Feed her only by hand, so that she will learn that all resources are fully under your control and that she needs you for survival.

I attache an anti-control programme, for further informations. It will guide you and shows how to deal with the problems in a correct way. Please scroll a little bit down, on this side.

If you have questions, please rewrite. I will answer you.
