Default Always licking!!

Hey guys,
I have a 5 & 1/2 old Staffy Puppy Called Maxxie, He keeps licking everything!.

He licks the walls, doors, the sofa & Me!

I know puppys are in a way like children and explore everything with there mouths but this is extreme. He has fresh water avalible all the time, on a few occations ive taken him to his water bowl and hes not interested so he cant be thursty.

Anything at all i can do to stop him licking?

Thankies xxxxx

hi,

take your puppy immediately to the vet. take a blood picture
what are you feeding? Maybe change your food.
Is it still teething?

How is it at nights? Can your pup sleep without licking or does it lick during his sleep? Check out if it has to do with pain and your pup tries to compensate it by licking all the time.

And don't give him too much freedom. Where your dog is you are with him all the time!!

Do you have another dog or cats?
I really cannot imagine a rational reason for a behavioural problem, without further information.

Sometimes dogs lick because they are having an allergic reaction to something. Have you consulted your vet?
