Hi, My dog, Rocky, is a husky/lab mix. 3 times in the last couple of months he suddenly becomes very erratic, almost paranoid, can't seem to contol his movements, has to be right on me, but won't lay in one place. I believe he eats something in our yard that make him halucinate or something. We live in souther California. Does anyone have any idea what could casuse this. It seem to disappear overnight and he's the great loveable puppy again.

Take him to a vet along with some samples of plants from your yard that he may have eaten.

Do you know the names of some of the plants/weeds that are in your yard? You could put name(s) in your browser--for instance: dogs/(name of plant) or/and-- dog/poisonous plants. Here is a link to 10 poisonous plants: 10 Plants That Can Poison Pups Maybe he is getting into something in the house too--a lot of house plants are poisonous to dogs. If you take the dog and the plant samples to a vet---Can you 'spy' on your dog and see what he is eating out there? Are there any kind of mushrooms/toad stools---These are bad for dogs--all kinds! Any kind of berries on bushes or trees?
