After harnessing my pug and getting ready to leave to the park, I forgot my keys in my bedroom. I went to retrieve them and while looking for the keys heard my boyfriend and a friend laughing in the living room. My pug had wrapped herself around his legs and pulled free of the harness she was in. I don't know how she did it. It's not too tight or too loose. She had wrapped herself around his legs when I was leaving the living room, but my boyfriend un-twisted it. She did a second time and slipped free while I wasn't looking.

She didn't struggle, just did it. I'm buying a new harness, but it's funny (and worrisome) to know she knows a thing or two about escaping from her harness.

That is pretty funny!! Maybe a new style of harness will help the problem, or maybe your pug will figure that one out too You never know with dogs. My lab has never learned how to escape anything or anywhere. But my mini dachshund has learned how to open the treat cabinet and other annoying (but hilarious) tricks.

I'm hoping the new harness will work. Haha yes dogs can be unpredictable.
