i have two dogs one a mix of all breeds and the other one is a miniature Schnauzer about a year old and the miniature schnauzer WILL not stop licking at my other dogs private parts they play fight a lot and will never give up i understand he is still young and playful but he wont leave my other dogs private parts alone

I hope someone has a good answer for this because Buster has pestered Sammie and Luna to the point where they no longer go pee when he is out there with them. I wanna know what people have to say about it too.

So I have something gross going on too. Wrigley & Kuma play a lot & have low level squabbles. Wrigley bites all over Kuma's head and ears & has moments when he is snorting & snotting on her!! I imagine it's from his own excitement (or irritation of Kuma pestering him) It even makes her smell sometimes!!..Hubby is grossed out by it. And I'm tired of having to keep wiping her down. I'm sooo tempted to buy some sort of "OFF" spray to put on her. I wish there was an answer....I (too) LOVE DOGS but come on...

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a correct way to stop your dog from licking. It's equivalent to smelling eachothers butts. Some dogs just want a little more "information".

I agree with Lange i think this is just how some dogs are. Are your dogs fixed? What do u do when u see ur dogs doing this?

Maybe try using a squirt bottle filled with water and squirting the dog when u see him doing this and say "off" or "leave it". When he listens right away offer a cookie or something.

LOL! We are talking about Buster here. I could throw a 5 gallon bucket of water on him and he would be right back at it in 30 seconds. He is not the brightest dog in the kennel.
